TRUNK SHOW INFORMATION
JWD Publishing is pleased to offer you the opportunity to display one or more quilts from our pattern collection at your quilt establishment or special quilting event.
We have a gallery display of available trunk-show quilts on this page (an updated list will be on this page very soon). Each pattern’s cover quilt is available for trunk shows. In addition, several patterns have multiple trunk-show samples that are either similar to the cover quilt or are made from different selections of fabric and color.
We have two types of trunk shows to accommodate your needs:
Quilt Shop Trunk Show You can book one or more quilts for a store display for up to 28 days. This expanded time should enhance your ability to sell patterns, make and sell kits, and use the quilt to advertise a class based on the quilt pattern.
Special Events Trunk Show If you are sponsoring a quilt show, conference, or other special event, you may schedule one or more quilts for the duration of your event.
Here is our basic trunk-show information:
- You select the number of quilts for your trunk show, as well as the specific quilt or quilts you wish to include (subject to availability).
- You determine the length of time and the desired engagement dates for your trunk show (subject to availability).
- You determine the number of patterns to be purchased in conjunction with your trunk show.
- If you want to book a trunk show for a conference, a show, or other large event, we suggest you consider our special-event consignment trunk show program. Returned patterns must reach us within 7 days after your event ends (the product must be in new condition and free from any markings or tags). Payment for non-returned patterns must be received within 10 days.
- The sponsoring store is responsible for payment of the patterns purchased, as well as two-way shipping charges (and basic transport insurance for the quilts).
- The sponsoring store is responsible for keeping our trunk show quilts in good condition while in its possession. If a quilt is lost, stolen, or damaged while in the store’s possession, the store is responsible for the costs to remake the quilt, including fabric, piecing, quilting, and finishing costs.
We schedule trunk shows in the order we receive applications. For further information, or to request a trunk show application, please contact Dane at 253-549-7889 or dwolfrom@jwdpublishing.com.
